Cached vs. uncached: what the labels do and do not mean

A cached file is already stored by a provider; an uncached file is not reported as available in that cache. Neither label guarantees playback or establishes permission to access the content.

A cache describes a particular file

A provider may store files to avoid repeating transfers. A cache result applies to the particular file or identifier checked, not necessarily every version of a title. Different providers can report different availability.

Cached does not mean instant or uninterrupted. Account access, provider availability, network speed and device compatibility still affect playback. An uncached result does not promise that a provider can obtain the file later. Provider rules and account limits apply.

Your account library is a separate concept

An account library generally lists files associated with your account. Whether those files occupy shared or separate storage, expire, or can be retained depends on the provider and plan. A library entry is not a guarantee of permanent storage or ownership of the underlying content. Check your provider's current documentation rather than assuming fixed retention periods or download quotas.

Availability is not authorization

A cached copy, a paid debrid subscription or an entry in your library does not establish a copyright license. Use only content you are authorized to access, and follow the provider's terms. This article does not recommend sources or ways to obtain unavailable titles.

What this means for MIRA Player

MIRA Player is a media player for compatible sources you connect yourself. If you connect TorBox or another supported debrid service, you supply your own account and API key. External subscriptions are separate from MIRA membership.

MIRA does not find or supply sources, host content, or download torrents on MIRA hardware. It cannot make an unavailable file available or grant playback rights. See what MIRA Player does and does not do.

FAQ

Why does a file work for someone else but not for me? They may have a different file, provider, account entitlement, network or device. Cache status is one possible explanation, not a diagnosis by itself.

Does cached mean safe or licensed? No. Storage status is not a security assessment or evidence of permission.

Does my library preserve files forever? Not necessarily. Retention, quotas and continued access depend on your provider's current terms.

A player for your own authorized sources

MIRA Player is $20/year or $99 lifetime. No content or source subscriptions are included. You provide your own sources and debrid key. Annual renews unless cancelled. Both plans have a 7-day refund on your first payment; there is no free trial. Refund policy · Terms.
