Standard install (Android TV / Google TV)

  1. Install the Downloader app from the Google Play Store on your TV box.

  2. Open Downloader and enter this URL exactly: miraplayer.tv/apk (redirects to the latest APK. Do not use /dl alone — that path is not a download landing page.)

  3. Tap the APK file to install. If prompted about unknown sources, tap Settings and enable Allow from this source, then go back and install.

  4. Open MIRA Player, sign in with your email and password, and select your profile.

Fire Stick Installation

Fire Stick requires one extra step to allow sideloaded apps.

Note: Amazon’s newest Vega OS Fire TV devices block sideloading. Use an older Fire OS stick, or a Google TV / Android TV box (onn ~$20 is the easy path). Details: /devices/.
  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.

  2. Turn on Install Unknown Apps. Then find Downloader in the list and enable it.

  3. Go back to your home screen and find Downloader in the app store. Install it if you haven't already.

  4. Open Downloader and enter this URL exactly: miraplayer.tv/apk (redirects to the latest APK. Do not use /dl alone.)

  5. Download the APK, tap Install when prompted, then tap Open when it finishes.

  6. Sign in with your MIRA Player account credentials.

Can't find Developer Options? On older Fire Sticks: Settings → Device → Developer Options.

Connect Your Sources

Sources are how MIRA Player gets your content. You add them once on the website — they sync to every device automatically.

MIRA Player Sources page — connect IPTV (Xtream Codes), TorBox, Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, Premiumize, Debrid-Link, a Stremio add-on, or Jackett See it: the Sources page with every source type MIRA connects — full connect walkthrough

TorBox (easiest all-in-one debrid path)

  1. Go to torbox.app/settings (signed in), copy your API key.

  2. Go to miraplayer.tv/account → Sources → TorBox and paste the key.

  3. Click Save. Your TV app and web player use TorBox on the next resolve.

What is TorBox? TorBox is a debrid service — it caches files on high-speed servers so movies and shows can stream without torrenting from your home connection. Dedicated page: Connect TorBox. Deep guide: TorBox setup guide.

Other debrid services (same pattern)

Prefer a different debrid? Paste that provider's API key the same way on the account page. Dedicated setup pages:

Tip: Pair any debrid with a Jackett connection so MIRA can search magnets for that service to unlock. MIRA never sells debrid subscriptions — you bring your own.

IPTV Provider (Live TV + VOD)

  1. Get your Xtream Codes credentials from your IPTV provider — you'll need the server URL, username, and password.

  2. Go to miraplayer.tv/account and enter them in the IPTV section.

  3. Click Test to confirm they work, then Save.

Don't have an IPTV provider? Any Xtream Codes-compatible IPTV service works with MIRA. We're a neutral player — we don't sell, bundle, or recommend content sources — but our support team is happy to help you connect whichever provider you choose.

Movies & Shows

Browse and play from a catalog powered by MIRA's own catalog and semantic engine, resolved through your connected sources.

  1. From the home screen, browse the Movies or Shows tab, or use Search.

  2. Select a title to open the detail page. Press Play to start automatically, or select a source if you want to choose the quality manually.

  3. MIRA Player tries TorBox first (highest quality), then falls back to your IPTV VOD library if TorBox doesn't have the file.

  4. Your watch progress saves automatically. Come back later and tap Continue Watching to pick up where you left off.

Live TV

Browse your IPTV provider's full channel lineup, organized by category.

  1. Select Live TV from the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Browse channels by category (Sports, News, Movies, etc.). Use the category tabs at the top to filter.

  3. Press a channel to start watching. The player shows the current and next program in the header.

  4. Open the Guide to see the full EPG (Electronic Program Guide) with upcoming shows.

Favorite channels: Press and hold a channel to add it to your Favorites. Favorites appear at the top of the channel list for quick access.

Watchlist & History

Keep track of what you want to watch and what you've already seen.

  1. Save to My Stuff — On any detail page, press the bookmark icon to add the title to your watchlist. Access it from the home screen under My Stuff.

  2. Continue Watching — Titles you've started appear on your home screen. MIRA resumes from the exact point you left off.

  3. History — Completed titles and recently watched content appear in the History section of the app. Each profile has its own watch history.

Family Profiles

One MIRA Player account supports multiple family members, each with their own watch history and watchlist.

  1. When you open the app, you'll see the profile picker. Select your profile or tap Add Profile.

  2. Each profile has its own Continue Watching, My Stuff, and watch history — completely separate from other profiles.

  3. Kids mode — Enable Kids mode on a profile to get a simplified interface and restrict adult content. Set a PIN under Settings → Parental Controls.

Settings

Customize MIRA Player from the Settings screen (accessible from the bottom nav bar).

  • Content Language — Pick your preferred audio language (English, Spanish, French, etc.). MIRA Player will always try to serve content in your language first.
  • Parental Controls — Set a PIN to lock specific content categories. Kids mode restricts navigation to family-friendly content.
  • My Services — Enable the streaming apps you already subscribe to so MIRA can show a shortcut on the detail page that deep-launches the right app directly. MIRA points you to it; your own subscription does the playing.
  • Motion — Enable or disable animated transitions if you prefer a static interface.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Why is it buffering?
If you're using TorBox, check your internet speed and your TorBox plan. MIRA Player tries to play at the highest quality your connection supports. If buffering persists, try pressing the source button in the player to switch to a different version. If your IPTV fallback is playing, it may take 10–15 seconds to fully start — that's normal for IPTV streams.
Why is the audio in a foreign language?
Go to Settings → Content Language and select English (or your preferred language). The app will then prioritize English audio tracks when they're available. If an IPTV stream only has one language, you'll hear that language regardless of this setting.
A movie or show says "no source found."
This usually means TorBox doesn't have the file cached and your IPTV VOD library doesn't have it either. Try again in a few minutes — TorBox may need time to index a newly released title. For older or niche content, it may simply not be available from your connected sources.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to miraplayer.tv/account and click Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.
Can multiple people use the same account?
Yes — one account supports multiple family members through profiles. Each person gets their own watch history, watchlist, and continue watching. Just add profiles at the profile selection screen when you open the app.
Live TV channels aren't loading.
First, check that your IPTV credentials are saved and valid at miraplayer.tv/account. IPTV stream links reset periodically — if channels suddenly stop working, they usually recover within a few hours. Try a different category to see if only some channels are affected. If the issue persists, contact your IPTV provider.
I forgot my password.
Contact [email protected] and we'll reset it for you — usually within one business day.
The app won't install on my Fire Stick.
Make sure you've enabled Install Unknown Apps for Downloader in Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If the install starts but fails, try downloading again — file transfers occasionally get corrupted. If you see an error about the package installer, restart your Fire Stick and try again.
