A TiviMate alternative: your IPTV, debrid and add-ons in one app

Feature by feature, from TiviMate's own listing and MIRA Player's own docs.

Short answer

TiviMate is an established IPTV player for Android TV with M3U, Xtream Codes, Stalker Portal, an EPG grid, catch-up, recording and Multiview, per its Google Play listing (checked 2026-10-18). MIRA Player covers IPTV too, and adds debrid accounts and Stremio add-ons in the same catalogue, on Android TV, Google TV and the web. This is a feature comparison, not a verdict.

What TiviMate lists (Google Play, 2026-10-18)

TiviMate's listing names M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker Portal playlists, an EPG grid, multiple playlists, favorites, catch-up, recording, search, parental controls and Multiview. It says it is designed for Android TV and remote control navigation and is not optimized for phones or tablets. The app has in-app purchases; it says a paid upgrade unlocks app features only, and the upgrade price is not published outside the purchase screen. TiviMate states it is a media player only and does not provide any content (Google Play listing).

Where MIRA Player differs

MIRA Player connects IPTV (M3U or Xtream Codes) with a live TV guide, plus five debrid services and Stremio add-ons by URL, in one catalogue with one watchlist, one search and Continue Watching. It runs on Android TV and Google TV, in the web app, and as early-access Mac, Linux and Windows builds.

You connect sources in the web app at miraplayer.tv/app; your provider credentials stay between you and your provider. MIRA can try another eligible connected source when one fails; timing depends on the source and network. MIRA Player is a player, not a content service: it hosts, bundles and supplies no channels, movies or streams. Playback depends on your sources, device, codec support and network.

What MIRA Player does not claim

Catch-up, recording and watching several channels on one screen are not claimed for MIRA Player; the table marks them not claimed rather than guessing.

How to set up MIRA Player if you use TiviMate

  1. Subscribe. Pick a plan at miraplayer.tv/get: $20/year or $99 lifetime (one-time); 7-day refund on your first payment.
  2. Connect your IPTV on the web. Open miraplayer.tv/app and add the same M3U URL or Xtream Codes login you use today. Add a debrid account or Stremio add-on URL if you have one. Sources connect on the web, not on the TV.
  3. Install the TV app. Install MIRA Player from Google Play on Android TV or Google TV (Android 7+) and sign in with the same account.
  4. Open the live TV guide. Your channels appear in the guide; debrid and add-on titles appear in the catalogue.
